Fabulous freshly cooked food

If you’re after great, honest pub food then look no further than The Strand. All our food is freshly prepared on a daily basis by our very talented chefs. We don’t have a huge menu, with lots and lots of dishes, but what we do have is terrific fresh food and a menu that changes frequently.

As well as our standard menu, we have some lunch specials through the week, which at £6.50 each is brilliant value for a tasty and quick lunch. In the evenings alongside our main menu we offer sharing platters and nibbles to tuck into, for when a packet of crisps is just not enough! Sunday Roast is a real favourite too, so be sure to book. Children can choose half portions of our meals, and we can cater for specific dietary requirements. Just ask a member of staff.

We serve food seven days a week. Kitchen hours are 12pm – 2.30pm and 6pm – 9pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm – 2.30pm and 5pm – 9pm on Friday, 12pm – 9pm on Saturday and 12pm – 5pm on Sunday. Our first floor and basement rooms offer a diverse and versatile range of spaces to suit any party.
