It’s that time of year again when we celebrate all things beer! Well why wouldn’t you? Cheltenham Beer Week (CBW) returns for the fourth year running and runs across a ten-day period from 13th – 22nd September.
We’ll be taking part of course and we are looking forward to selling the CBW 4.4% Collaboration Brew. We are also getting into the spirit with a number of events.
Saturday 14th September – The Barking Mad Ale Trail
Come along as we once again join up with our sister pubs; the Royal and the Exmouth Arms, for our very own Barking Mad Ale Trail. Visit each of the three pubs and complete some fun challenges (the ‘Mad’ part) and buy a half pint of beer. Along the route between the pubs pick up some fiendish (not really) clues, then finish back where you started and you’ll be rewarded with a gold star and a smile and go on then; a free pint of beer! You’ll also be entered in to our prize draw to win some great giveaways including a meal for two. The ‘Barking’ bit? Bring along your dog and he/she will be rewarded with a bottle of dog beer especially for them!
Tuesday 17th September, 7pm – Beer Geek Quiz with Goffs Brewery
Fancy yourself a bit of a Beer Buff or do you just love drinking the stuff? Whichever best describes you, you’ll love our fun quiz. Test not just your brain, but your sight, smell and taste, in our multi-sensory challenge. It’s £1 per person and teams of up to 6 people with some brilliant prizes up for grabs. Proceeds to go to National Star College.
Thursday 19th September, 7-8pm – Beer Yoga
We’ve teamed up with Julia Frearson from Cheltenham Pilates & Yoga to host a Beer & Yoga session, featuring, you’ve guessed it; Beer & Yoga. So, if you’ve got the bottle for it, join us for this fun yoga session. Price is just £6 which includes a beer. Proceeds to National Star College.
